Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS):An increase in Registered Exports in Goods in June, 06/2022 compared  to the previous month.

Exports in Goods

Exports increased in June, 2022 by 12% compared to May, 2022. It also increased by 5% compared to June, 2021 and reached USD 131.6 Million.

 

Exports to Israel increased in June, 2022 by 10% compared to May, 2022 and it represented 91% of total exports in June, 2022.

 

At the same time, exports to other countries increased by 34% during the same period compared to May 2022.

 

Imports in Goods

Imports decreased in June 2022 by 3% compared to May 2022. At the same time, it increased by 20% compared to June 2021 and reached USD 652.5 Million.

 

Imports from Israel decreased by 7% in June, 2022 compared to May, 2022, representingz 54% of total imports in June, 2022.

 

On the other hand, imports from other countries increased by 1% compared to May 2022.

Trade Balance on Registered Goods

The trade balance which represents the difference between exports and imports showed a decrease in trade deficit by 6% in June 2022 compared to May 2022. At the same time, it increased by 24% compared to June 2021 and reached USD 520.9 Million.
